Wheat Aleurone is an innovative, all-natural ingredient developed to help food manufacturers create healthier whole grain foods that appeal to more consumers. A proprietary method isolates the precious aleurone layer— where most of the desirable whole wheat nutrients are concentrated. Nutrition scientists have confirmed that isolated aleurone is preferable to full bran because it contains higher levels of almost all the whole wheat nutrients believed to help promote better health. It is a concentrated source of dietary fibers, essential vitamins, including B6, niacin and E minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc. Aleurone includes most major antioxidants, and many phytochemicals including tocopherols and tocotrienols.
